March 5th 2024 DRESS IN BLUE DAY had a "GO WITH YOUR GUT" Theme

The South Carolina Gastroenterology Association Foundation had more than 1500 Go with Your Gut t-shirts out in the workforce for Dress in Blue 2024! Along with other helpful reminders to support doctors, nurses, and staff all around the state of South Carolina.

Kicking off Colon Cancer Awareness Month with a Dress in Blue Social Media Event. After a year of challenges, twists and turns in healthcare protocol our gastroenterology community showed out in massive support of Dress in Blue Day! These commemorative masks are from the South Carolina Gastroenterology Association Foundation √ur: awareness promotion.

Dr. Bryan Green shares about the Colorectal Cancer Prevention Network. This is a partnership with the SC Gastroenterology Association and other organizations that offers free screening colonoscopies to uninsured patients. Over 3,000 screening colonoscopies have been performed by SC gastroenterologists. Numerous colon cancers have been prevented and lives have been saved!

At the 2019 National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable Dr. Green was presented with the 80% by 2018 award for the work he has done with the statewide screening program.
